Darrell "Brock" Brockman is a graduate of Taft High School. Brock started playing with the Cincinnati Jets as a wide receiver. He is one of the few players that kept the same number (81) for his entire career. Brock converted to Tight End and was known for his short routes and big plays in the red zone. There was a play named after Brockman in the 1980s called the 60 Dump. Brock played in the 2011 Juice Bowl on Thanksgiving day and will be returning the play in 2012 with the Ohio Ducks. Brock received the Lifetime Achievement award for 2012. Brock has withstood the test of time.
